Evening Entertainment in Chicago
The Chicago Riverwalk is a 1.25 mile long path along the Chicago River that stretches from Lake Street to the lake front while providing a vertical connection from Upper Wacker Drive down to the waterway. The stairway entrance is right across the street from the Swissotel. The Riverwalk provides a nearby spot to grab a drink or a quick bite to eat while taking in the solitude of the waterway. If you are an early riser, this is the perfect spot for an early morning jog.

Located across the street from the Swissotel, step on down to the Chicago Riverwalk and an island paradise at the Island Party Hut Tiki Bar and Grill. Kick back with cold drinks, casual eats, cool island jams, and outdoor games such as ping pong and bags. The “Hut” has draft & craft beers and island specialty drinks that will put you in a tropical mood. If that isn’t enough, “Panama Jay” will be performing his island jams live in the Palapa.

Located right on Michigan Ave, Sweetwater is just a short walk from the Swissotel. If you prefer to stay indoors, you can get there via the Pedway located on the lower level of the hotel! This vibrant bar and restaurant offers indoor seating as well as an expansive patio area. Great craft beer list, seasonal cocktails, a full menu for late night snacks and an upbeat atmosphere. A perfect destination for after-work drinks and celebrating.
